All About the Clients Dashboard

How to navigate the client dashboard

The area you will probably use the most on a day-to-day basis is the Clients dashboard. Let's take a quick tour!

Clients Dashboard

In the main panel, you will see a list of Active Clients (including information on the progress, compliance and recent actions).

🔍 You can search for clients using the search box. You can filter the list by current program, coach, tags, compliance and date.

➕ There is a button to add new clients (more on that later!) and an option to download your current client list.

💬 Clicking on the three dots next to a client, will bring up a quick actions panel where you can send a message, add a note, or view current streak and metrics.

Bulk Actions

One of the most powerful aspects of Coach Catalyst is the ability to do bulk actions - such as sending a message to multiple clients or assigning multiple clients the same program.

To perform a bulk action, select the required clients (filtering the list first, if needed) and then select the option from the dropdown list.

Client Profile

Clicking on a client's name will open up their Client Profile. Here you can see what is on your client's send a message, perform a bulk action, view their journey, add notes, and see other key information.

Journey Tab

Here you can see the client's journey page, where you can see past and future content.

📆 You scroll between months and change views (either calendar view or list view).

➕ You can add elements by clicking on the plus icon on any date. This means you can schedule messages, attach a form, add an action/habit or assign a workout.

Color Coding on the Clients Dashboard

Understanding the color scheme of items on the Clients Dashboard can help you quickly assess your clients' progress and engagement. Here's what each color represents:

Lessons and Messages

  • White: Both Lessons and Messages always appear in white, regardless of their status or timing.

Actions

Actions have a more complex color coding system that reflects their status and timing:

  • White: Future actions that have not yet been completed.

  • Green: Actions marked as "done" by the client.

  • Red: Actions marked as "not done" by the client.

  • Grey: Past actions that were neither marked as "done" nor "not done".

This color scheme lets you quickly identify which actions your clients have completed, which ones they've struggled with, and which ones might need follow-up.

For instance, a cluster of red actions might indicate that a client is struggling with a particular part of their program, while a series of green actions shows strong engagement and progress.

By paying attention to these colors, you can more effectively monitor your clients' journeys and provide timely support or encouragement where needed.

Vault Tab

Stay organized by keeping client notes and personal resources all in one place!

📝 Add notes about your clients, (which are automatically date-stamped), such as data from sessions or things to remember to bring up for your next call. Click on the ellipsis menu (three vertical dots) for options to pin, edit and delete notes.

🏆 Add goals information, so that you can quickly refer back to what your clients want to achieve.

📄 Upload PDF resources, such as client journals and success guides.

Notes and goals can only be viewed by coaches. You can choose whether or not a client can see resources in personal docs by changing the visibility.
